TelescriptPRO is open but I don't see the desktop window? How can I get it back?
There is positioning code in ProNEWS that tries to establish an on-screen position. This can sometimes happen if you have an unusual Windows desktop arrangement, like an extended desktop with the primary monitor above. Try one of the following to get it back into proper position:
a. Close and re-open the dialog using the toolbar or the menus. This should put them on screen, and you can position wherever you like.
b. Use one of the window arrangement commands on the toolbar or on the Window (arrangement) menu if you have access to them.
c. The brute force method is to use Regedit. Be very careful when making a registry edit. Be sure to save your configuration by exporting it to a file before proceeding. First, close TPro, then open regedit (type Regedit in the search bar in Windows to find it) and find HKCU/Software/Telescript/TelescriptPro/6.2/DlgCtrlWinPos (or TimerWinPos). When you edit these entries, there'll be 16 double-digit numbers. Just reset all to 00. Both of the dialogs will open in the upper left corner when you again re-show the dialogs.
